Employment & job searches can be challenging, particularly for queer and trans people. Pride partners with the CSU Career Center to support our students, graduates, and alumni in their careers.

Queer Your Career Series 2023

New Moon Tarot Reading  

Tuesday, March 21 | 5:00-6:30 PM | Pride Resource Center (LSC 232) 

The New Moon is a time for introspection and setting intentions for the future. Join Pride, APACC, and the Career Center for small group tarot readings to help us reflect on our hopes and goals for the future. Snacks provided.  

Queer Peers Alumni Speaker: Ash Powers

Join Queer Peers and the School of Social work as we hear LGBTQIA2S+ CSU alumni speak about their experiences with work, family, and community after their time at CSU. Open to all majors! This month’s speaker is Ash Powers, Bachelor of Social Work, Class of 2021. Food Provided. This event is virtual with an in-person watch party. 

Pop into Pride for Free Professional Photos and Career Support 

Thursday, March 30 | 3:00-5:30 | Pride Resource Center (LSC 232) 

Come to the Pride Resource Center for a free professional photo from a queer alum photographer. Meet briefly with queer career educators to answer questions and get resources while you wait (resume drafts welcome).

This month’s speaker is Dr. Cori Wong, a queer, biracial Asian American feminist philosopher and owner of Positive Philosophy Consulting. Dinner provided.

Join us as we welcome queer Fort Collins community members working in STEM fields. Hear their stories, ask questions, and leave inspired.  Hosted by Amplify Learning Community, College of Natural Sciences.
