OUT IN THE REC IS A COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE PRIDE RESOURCE CENTER AND CAMPUS RECREATION TO PROVIDE AFFIRMING REC EXPERIENCES TO LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ALLIES.
All events are FREE unless otherwise noted.
Pride Outside
Pride Outside trips are designed by and for individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. These courses are framed and presented in a manner that provides a supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ folks. It is acceptable for “allies” to enroll in these courses, but generally this is only if additional space is available after the target audience has registered.

Out at the Wall
Drop-in to the Rec Center’s Climbing Wall to spend time with other LGBTQIA+ climbers and allies. All ranges of experience and abilities are welcome. New to climbing? Come on though! Register ahead of time on the Campus Rec portal or drop in.

Out at the Pool
Spend time at the pool with other LGBTQIA+ community members and allies. All bodies and all genders are welcome. Wear attire that is most comfortable to you and your needs, except sweatpants, sweatshirts, or jeans. Clean athletic wear, sports bras, chest binders are welcome. Gender inclusive bathrooms and locker rooms are available.
