LGBTQ+ Scholarship Fund

This fund provides scholarship assistance to LGBTQIA+ undergraduate and graduate students who have been impacted by issues connected to the LGBTQIA+ community. This fund is hosted through the CSU Pride Resource Center to support students’ sense of belonging and progress towards completion of their degree(s).

Application Deadline: March 1 

Current Criteria: 

  • Enrolled part-time or full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at CSU; 
  • Any class, any major; 
  • Students who have been impacted by issues connected or related to the LGBTQIA+ community; 
  • Demonstration of involvement and commitment to LGBTQIA+ advocacy and social justice;
  • Financial need may be a consideration, but not the primary consideration; and 
  • Desire to become an LGBTQIA+ Scholar and represent the Pride Resource Center at special events and programs. 

Leah Memorial Fund

The Leah Memorial Fund was created by CSU parents with the intent to support the work of creating a culture of inclusivity on the CSU campus and who recognized the critical support the Pride Resource Center provides to students. The purpose of this fund is to support specific financial needs of students who have been impacted by circumstances connected or related to the LGBTQ+ community. This fund is meant to serve emergency needs and is awarded on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis. Criteria:
  1. Enrolled part-time or full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program;
  2. Any class, any major;
  3. Preferences are given to a student who is impacted by circumstances connected or related to the GLBTQ+ community.
  4. Should you be selected for this fund, additional requirements such as follow up meetings with a professional staff member from the Pride Resource Center or a thank you engagement with the donors as appropriate may apply.
  5. Articulated financial need will be strongly considered.
