We are excited to host Winter Lavender Graduation as part of our Pride Family Dinner on Tuesday, December 6th at 5:00 PM in Lory Student Center Ballroom D.

What is Lav Grad?

Lavender Graduation celebrates the accomplishments and achievements of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally undergraduate and graduate students. Colleges and universities across the United States participate in celebrations like this for the last two decades. We welcome all graduates to be a part of our ceremony, regardless of their involvement in the Pride Resource Center! While our typical ceremony is at the end of April, we're excited to celebrate the group of LGBTQ+ students graduating this December as part of our Pride Family Dinner.

What is the Pride Family Dinner?

Pride invites our extended family (students, families, faculty & staff) to join us for an end of semester celebration with food & cozy activities. At the end of the night, we will celebrate our December graduates!

Please fill out the form below to let us know you're graduating, to RSVP to our Winter Lav Grad on December 6th, and to receive your graduate gifts (tassel and chord included!).     As a graduate, we are excited to gift you a lavender cord and rainbow tassle to wear as part of your regalia, as well as a few other small tokens from the Pride Resource Center.

  • Recognition at Lavender Graduation

    We are hosting a Winter Lav Grad on Tuesday, December 6th as part of our End of Semester Pride Family Dinner. You are welcome to join for any or all of the event, and bring loved ones too! If you would like to be recognized during the ceremony, please fill out the information below. We will be using this to create a slideshow of all of our graduates that will be viewed during the ceremony. We will include: Name, Degree & Concentrations, Involvements, and Photo. Our graduates will have the option to say their own name & a message of gratitude as they are recognized & receive their tassel and chord.
