Education & Workshops

The Pride Resource Center offers educational training and workshops for departments, classes, student organizations, and other CSU-affiliated programs and groups. Our workshops focus on increasing participants’ knowledge, awareness, skills and action needed to reduce homophobia and transphobia, with the goal of creating a CSU and local community that is inclusive, safer, and supportive to people of all sexual, romantic, and gender identities and expressions.

We offer a variety of types of  educational workshops, which you can see below to make the determination for which offering is best for your or your group. Community organizations or schools that are not affiliated with CSU may also submit training requests through emailing our Assistant Director, Maggie Hendrickson, at We will process these requests on an individual basis based on availability, proximity, and compensation.

PLEASE NOTE: To align with university recommendations related to the COVID-19, we will be primarily offering VIRTUAL workshops through Fall 2021 and will make the determination for in-person trainings on a case-by-case basis.
