Join the Pride Resource Center Out & About in Colorado!
Out and About Trips are small-group day trips throughout Fort Collins and beyond to support our LGBTQIA+ students in getting familiar and involved with our local community.
REGISTRATION FOR OUR SEPTEMBER OUT & ABOUT TRIPS HAS CLOSED. WE WILL SHARE WHEN OTHER TRIPS ARE SCHEDULED.
2023 Out & About Trip Details
Date: Saturday, September 23
Timing: Each trip may differ, but trips typically run between 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Transportation: Free transportation is provided for each trip (12-passenger van). Students who need to transport themselves due to accessibility needs can coordinate with their trip leader.
Meals: Each trip will include a paid-for lunch.
Audience: This opportunity is open to current CSU students, with an emphasis on students who are new to the university/Fort Collins.
Trip Leaders: Each trip will be lead by 1-2 professional staff within Pride and CSU, who will be your driver and main point of contact.
Trip Options
Out & Creative | Get out in Fort Collins for a painting class & talk about the importance of art in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Out at Horsetooth | Get out at Horsetooth Reservoir, a local outdoor recreation area. We’ll go for a hike and spend time by the water.
