Pride’s Lavender Ceremony is the Pride Resource Center’s annual end of year celebration. All are welcome to join us in celebrating graduates, scholarship recipients, annual award winners, and other accomplishments of the year. Colleges and universities across the United States have participated in celebrations like this for over 30 years to continue the tradition of celebrating with chosen family. This ceremony is open to all students, faculty, staff, families, and friends who want to celebrate our community’s accomplishments this year.

Are you graduating in Spring or Summer 2027?
We want to celebrate you! The Pride Resource Center provides lavender cords to any graduate who would like to be celebrated by the center, no matter your level of involvement.
How can I pick up my cord?
Please complete the form below to reserve your cord. You can pick it up in one of the following options:
- Find the Cultural Resource Centers table at Grad Fest.
- Stop by the front desk of the Pride Resource Center (LSC 232) in May.
- Attend our Lavender Ceremony on May 6th to receive a cord on stage with your fellow graduates for our end of year celebration.
Lavender Award Nominations
Each year at the Lavender Awards Ceremony, we recognize our Annual Awards through the Pride Resource Center. Award categories include opportunities for new students, faculty, staff, alumni, and graduating students to be recognized for their impact on campus.
