Join the PRC in celebrating Black History Month with a virtual group viewing of this untold story of black queer culture through the eyes of Catch One, and its’ owner, Jewel Thais-Williams. Open for 40 years, “The Catch” was the longest running black queer dance bar in Los Angeles, and still stands as a symbol of resilience in the black queer community today. With open minds, we will listen to the stories told by our BIPOC siblings regarding racism in the queer community and honor those deeply effected by it.
The link for the Netflix party will be sent out in the zoom call prior to the movie starting.
When: Feb 19, 2021 06:30 PM Mountain Time
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
