ACT UP: The Impact of Queer Activism

Join us as we welcome Erica LaFehr, the Assistant Director of Educational Programming for the WGAC and an Instructor in the department of Ethnic Studies, for conversations on the history of the AIDS Crisis and the ACT UP movement. We’ll look into this movement, its origins, make a community banner, and discuss how learning about queer advocates of the past can inform today’s flights for the right to live and love freely without stigma.
